Bring a glass jar (about pasta sauce-sized) and we'll provide the rest of the materials to make a terrarium with succulents and other cuttings. We're doing this outside on the upper level terrace so you may want a hat. The group size is limited to 10 people, plus staff. Zoom Storytime with Youth Poet Laureate Madeleine Hur
We are celebrating National Poetry Month by inviting Youth Poet Laureate Madeleine Hur to read on Zoom "Change Sings: A Children's Anthem" by Amanda Gorman, a National Youth Poet Laureate.

Learn Tagalog for Fun

Storm Drain Murals Pilot Project
Storm drains are the entryway to our local creeks and the San Francisco Bay. Every time it rains, trash and pollutants flow into our storm drains which connect directly to our waterways. By creating unique murals, you can help raise awareness that stormwater is not treated so everything that goes down a storm drain will reach the San Francisco Bay. Together, we can improve water quality and make sure that only rain goes down the drain.
We are calling for entries for the Storm Drain Murals Pilot Project. When designing artwork, artists are encouraged to consider the following themes (exact phrases do not need to appear on the mural):
• Water Quality: Clean Water Starts with You
• Stormwater Pollution Prevention: Only Rain Down the Drain
• San Francisco Bay and Estuary: Keep It Clean We’re All Downstream
Deadline: April 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. All entries received after this date will not be considered.
How to Enter: Apply online at www.burlingame.org/murals. Applicants can submit up to five entries.

Eggstravaganza
Kids and parents are invited to join us for an Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 9th from 10a to noon in the burlpres parking lot. This event is completely free! We'll have age-appropriate egg hunts, games, food and more! Parents, please complete the Consent and Release of Liability Form ahead of time if you are able.
